FeSTEM is supported by ACM-Women Cyprus (https://acmwomencyprus.wordpress.com/)

Mrs Androulla Vasiliou, Former European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism & Youth participated as the keynote speaker in the event and talked about the participation of women in STEM in the academia and industry.

During the event the aim and objectives of the FeSTEM project were introduced.  The Intellectual Outputs of the project were presented and a roundtable discussion also took place with three panelist from Cyprus and Slovenia. The purpose of this discussion was to present and discuss best practices for boosting the presence of women in STEM. Each panelist answered to three related questions.

The gender-sensitive toolbox that was developed as part of the FeSTEM project was introduced and showcased through padlet (https://padlet.com/irichristou/axyo16eltrg19p9g). Examples of gender-sensitive artifacts created by other students were also showcased via Google Poly (https://poly.google.com/view/1-mwwSblRo1).
